Based out of Toronto, his responsibilities include strategy, creative solutions to all current clients, new business development and span 7 offices: from New York to Los Angeles and from Vancouver to Montreal.
Prior to joining Citizen Relations, Carlos was chief creative officer at Elvis, and previously – he was chief creative officer for Cossette in Montreal, and chief creative officer at OgilvyOne Worldwide, also in Toronto.
During his many years of experience in marketing, traditional advertising and interactive communications, Carlos has been responsible for creative and strategic solutions to Fortune 500 brands spanning numerous verticals including automotive, consumer packaged goods, eCommerce, financial, pharmaceutical, technology and telecommunications.
His work has been internationally recognized by The One Show, The New York Festivals, The London International Awards, The International ECHO Awards, The Advertising and Design Club of Canada, Communication Arts Magazine, Strategy Magazine, Marketing Magazine, the Canadian Marketing Association and the Retail Council of Canada.
He is an Advisory Board member to Seneca’s Digital Media Arts program – SENECA@YORK (Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology). He is also a member of the ECHO Academy of Direct Marketing Arts & Sciences.
Carlos has recently judged the 2013 International DMA ECHO Awards in New York; 2013 FITC – The Design and Technology Festival in Toronto; the PROMO! Awards and the National Advertising Awards.

Throughout his career, his work has enhanced brands such as American Express, Columbia Tri-Star, cisco, HBO, GM, Unilever and most recently Aeroplan, Coca-Cola, P&G, Telus, MasterCard and Ubisoft.

As a 360° marketing and communications specialist, his focus has been design thinking and digital technologies – and how they effectively integrate with traditional media including web, TV, print, mobile, events, DM and social media.
